Bionexus LD Polymerase combines Bionexus's high quality Taq DNA Polymerase with a small amount of PR Polymerase that has a 3'-5' proofreading exonuclease activity. The LD Taq Polymerase mix is optimized for high-yield amplifications of 5-20 kb. A mix of the processive Bionexus Taq DNA Polymerase and the Bionexus PR Polymerase enables the correction of misincorporated nucleotides which significantly increases the length of the amplification product. Amplification of some G-C rich templates may also benefit from the addition of DMSO which has been reported to give DNA thermal stability against depurination.
